Compete.
Competitions from one hour to three days. Same buy-in for everyone. Paid out based on performance.
Pick your clock.
Every format runs at several buy-ins and in capital brackets, so you compete at your own size.
How it works.
Buy in
Pick a format, a buy-in and a bracket. USDC goes to escrow, the pot grows on the board.
Trade the window
Trade papertrade markets from our terminal with the clock, the pot and your rank beside the chart.
Take the pot
Scores lock at the bell. The top three split the pot, paid in USDC on HyperEVM.
The pot splits by finish.
- Buy-ins make the pot. Escrowed on HyperEVM until the bell.
- Nothing off the top. Flagship competitions carry a guaranteed pot.
- Top three take the pot. Half to the winner, then 30% and 20%.
Ranked on return, not bankroll.
A $500 account up $70 scores +14.0% and beats a $4,100 account up $303 in the $2,500 bracket, which scores +12.1%.
Questions traders ask.
What is Taikai?
Timed trading competitions on papertrade. Pay a buy-in, trade the window, and the top three split the pot.
Who takes custody of my funds?
Your buy-in sits in the competition escrow contract on HyperEVM until payout. Your trading capital never leaves your wallet. Positions live in papertrade's contracts under your own address, and we read fills from the chain to score you.
How are winners decided?
By return on eligible trades. Return is measured against the capital in your bracket, counting only trades placed inside the competition window. Deposits and withdrawals during the window are ignored.
